When does the bank close?

November 10: This day falls on a Friday. According to the Reserve Bank's holiday list, banks will remain closed on this day in Meghalaya due to Wangala Mahotsav. There will be no impact on work in other states of the country. Let us tell you that Dhanteras is also on November 10. However, this time there is no bank holiday.

November 11: This day falls on the second Saturday of the month. According to the Reserve Bank, the second and fourth Saturday of the month is a weekly holiday. In such a situation, banks will remain closed on November 11.


November 12: This date is Sunday, which is a weekly holiday. In such a situation, banks will remain closed. Let us tell you that Diwali will also be celebrated on this day. It means that since it is Sunday, there are no additional holidays for Diwali in banks.


November 13: This date is Monday. On this day, banks will remain closed in some states of the country due to Govardhan Puja/Lakshmi Puja. States where banks will remain closed include Tripura, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Manipur, Rajasthan, UP and Maharashtra.


November 14: This date is Tuesday. On this day, banks will remain closed in many states of the country due to Diwali (Bali Pratipada)/New Year Vikram Samvat/Lakshmi Puja. States where banks will remain closed include Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Sikkim.


November 15: This date is Wednesday. On this day the festival of Bhai Dooj/Chitragupta Jayanti/Lakshmi Puja/Ningal Chakkuba/Bhratri Dwitiya will be celebrated. Due to this, banks will remain closed in Sikkim, Manipur, Uttar Pradesh, Bengal and Himachal Pradesh.
