CM Manohar Lal Khattar has increased the honorarium of special police officers by Rs 2000, this will benefit 9000 SPOs of the state. Earlier, the government had announced to send Rs 501 to all rural and urban chowkidar, sanitation workers and tube well operators.

9000 SPOs will get benefits

Actually, the Haryana government has increased the honorarium of Special Police Officers (SPOs) by two thousand rupees, after which their monthly honorarium has been increased from Rs 18 thousand to Rs 20 thousand, although the officers demanded to increase the honorarium by Rs 10 thousand. The Chief Minister has approved this increase in view of the continuous service being provided by about 9000 SPOs in maintaining law and order in the state.
