Dearness Allowance was increased by the Central Government for its employees and pensioners. Along with this, the dearness allowance of railway employees has been increased while the dearness allowance of bank employees has also been increased at the rate of 4%. Orders for increase in dearness allowance have also been issued by central autonomous institutions. The increased dearness allowance has been implemented from July 1. With the increase in dearness allowance for the second half, their dearness allowance will increase to 46%.

The Assam government has increased the dearness allowance of its 5 lakh employees by four percent, like the Centre. In such a situation, 5 lakh government employees of Assam including service sector employees will also benefit. The total dearness allowance in Assam has been increased to 46%. Posting on Twitter, the Chief Minister has now announced 4% dearness allowance as a Diwali gift. The increased dearness allowance has been implemented from July 1.

Rajasthan
Rajasthan government has issued orders to increase the dearness allowance of its employees by 4%. A proposal for this was prepared and sent to the Election Commission. With the approval of the Election Commission, the benefit of increased dearness allowance has started being given to the employees of Rajasthan from the month of July. In such a situation, they will also be paid the arrear amount.

Chhattisgarh
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that pensioners including state employees will be given dearness allowance at par with the Centre. Chhattisgarh government has sought permission from the Election Commission to give dearness allowance. Orders for this will be issued as soon as permission is granted. It will be implemented from the month of July. With this, there will be an increase of up to Rs 20,000 in the salary of the employees.

The dearness allowance of employees and pensioners has been increased by 4% by the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh. With this, their dearness allowance has been increased to 46%. This will cost the state government about Rs 2100 crore. Along with wishing the employees on Diwali, the Chief Minister said that State Employees Aided Teachers and Training Institutes, Urban Bodies, UGC employees and work-charged employee pensioners will be given the benefit of increased dearness allowance. Besides, they will also be paid a bonus amount equal to 30 days' emoluments. More than 14 lakh employees will get Rs 7000 as bonus.

Tamil Nadu
Tamil Nadu government has announced the benefit of increase in dearness allowance to its employees. Has been implemented from July 1. More than 16 lakh employees will benefit from this. At the same time, it will cost more than Rs 2500 crore on the government exchequer.

Chandigarh
The union administration of Chandigarh has also issued orders to increase the dearness allowance of its employees. It has been implemented from July 1. Arrears amount of 4 months will also be paid.
