Bihar: Now government employees will not be suspended, the government took this big decision

Mhara Hariyana News, New Delhi- The government has made some changes in the policies related to the suspension of government servants. This will give great relief to the government servants.

Firstly, they will not be suspended soon and even if they are suspended, they will not be for long. It has been a tradition till now that the personnel have to remain under suspension for years.

Some personnel have had to remain suspended for one year, while some for two to three years. There are many such workers in Sitamarhi district, who have been suspended for two-three years due to various reasons.

However, with the latest guidelines of the government, now government servants will be freed from being under suspension for a long time. The workers of the district are very happy with this decision of the government.

Not openly out of compulsion, but in hushed tones, they are praising the government for this decision.

Under what circumstances will it be suspended?

Under what circumstances a government servant can be suspended, the government has made it clear in its latest guidelines.

In a letter issued to other departments including DM, Dr. B.K. Rajender has said that if disciplinary action is to be taken against a government servant or is pending, then he can be suspended.

If a government servant is involved in an activity adversely affecting the security-interests of the state, then suspension action can be taken against him.

Apart from this, if any criminal case against a Government servant is under investigation or trial and it is expedient to suspend him in the opinion of the competent authority, then this action can be taken.

It has been said in the letter that if a government servant is found guilty in the course of investigation of a criminal case or in a criminal case and is sentenced to imprisonment for more than 48 hours, then he will be deemed to be suspended from the date of being sent to jail.

Decision after review of suspension-

Some decisions have been taken by the government after reviewing cases of suspension of personnel over the years. In a letter sent to the DM, the state government has said that no government servant will be suspended on charges of minor punishment.

The government has asked to take a decision to suspend only after considering the nature and seriousness of the allegations. It has been said to review the suspension of government servants who have been serving a sentence of suspension for more than one year every three months and to continue the action of suspension further only if the allegations are serious.

Government servants related to the remaining cases have been freed from suspension and asked to be posted at such places, where they cannot affect the cases being conducted against them by staying there.
